NESVA - Serving Local Veterans

Welcome to the website of the North East Scotland Veterans Association

We are a newly formed Association with members drawn from all branches of HM Armed Forces and also the Merchant Navy. Our aim is to encourage veterans to socialise with one another and also to help each other out if it is ever needed.
Any man or woman who has previously served within either the full or part time branches of the Forces are welcome to apply for membership.

Some of the activities that we plan to become involved with are attending events such as Remembrance Day parades & military shows, organising Veterans Day parades in our area and generally getting together to share past experiences and have a good laugh and a brew.
We are a friendly bunch of men and women who all have one thing in common and that is a sense of pride in having served as a member of HM Armed Forces or the Merchant Navy.

VETERANS DAY PARADE - 28th June 2008

We were very proud to be take part in the Aberdeen City Veterans Day Parade on Saturday the 28th of June 2008. Let's hope that it will become an annual event. Thank you to all of the members of the public who voiced their support during the parade and we look forward to participating in the future.
